UP-CYCLE A MASON JAR AND MAKE A REALLY COOL HALLOWEEN LANTERN

It’s that time of year…finally! Time for Jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin seeds and fall parties. Fall is a great time to get creative and this 3D print I’m pretty proud of. First of all, this is my first design that was created entirely using Onshape, a really neat web based 3D cad program which is surprisingly similar to Solidworks. This stylish halloween lantern allows you to use a standard pint sized mason jar to house a candle or led light. Slide in some Halloween themed panes on each side to cast an eerie scene. You can also print a hook for the top to hang the lantern. It’s a perfect way to add some halloween swag to your fall party or just to get in the Halloween mood.
Of course you can also try your hand at making some of your own stylish panes by visiting and copying my project by following the link here (you will need an Onshape account to copy the project): Onshape – Halloween Lantern
